Uno Quatro rules
During their turn, players drop their tiles into one of the seven vertical shelves and try to arrange them in such a way as to get the four tiles they need in one line.
Newly placed tiles must touch at least one tile of the same colour or number.
A special action tile can quickly change the course of the game by forcing another player to play with fewer tiles, push a tile out of a shelf or swap the positions of two shelves, confusing the other players' existing plans.
When a player has four tiles matching in colour or number in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row, he wins the game.
Start of the game
At the start of the game, you need to prepare the main game stand by removing the bracket on the back and positioning it so that it is firmly on the table.
This should be done in the middle of the table so that all players can easily reach it.
All the tiles in the bag should be mixed well.
Each player must draw three tiles at random from the bag.
The youngest player starts the game and the game is played clockwise.
During his turn, the player must throw one of the tiles in his hand into any of the shelves of the rack.
The thrown tile slides down to the lowest remaining position on that shelf.
If a player throws a tile where it is not touching other tiles (bottom, left or right), any tile can be used for that action.
All players can use the tiles already in the game tray to try to reach their goal.
Game tiles
Conventional tiles
Regular UNO Quatro tiles do not have any special properties.
No special actions can be taken when they are played.
Swap tiles
Playing with a tile with a swap symbol on it, the player must choose two tiles from the tiles on the game board and swap their positions.
The player must remove them from the rack and place them in the space of another rack, also removed.
This action is mandatory.
Displacement tiles
Playing with a tile with up and down arrow symbols on it, the player must push it downwards until the bottom tile is pushed out of the rack.
The player must perform this action.
After pushing the bottom tile out of the rack, the player must return the bottom tile to the bag.
If a player places a push tile on a shelf that has no other tiles, the player can choose whether to push that tile off the shelf or leave the only tile on the shelf.
The player can throw a push tile into the filled tray, which pushes the bottom tile out of the shelf, leaving the push tile on top.
Minus 2 (-2) tiles
With the -2 tile, the player uses this action to remove two tiles from the hands of the player waiting for the next move.
Two tiles are chosen at random.
These tiles must be returned to the bag.
Therefore, the player waiting for the turn has only one tile in his hand for the next turn.
And only after this move, the player draws three new tiles from the bag.
Laying tiles
For a tile to be placed next to other tiles, it must match the colour or number of at least one of the tiles it touches.
It must match the tile you are touching on the left, right, bottom or diagonally, but not necessarily all the tiles next to it.
After this action, the player must draw a new tile from the bag to have three tiles in his hand again.
If a player does not have a tile to use, they must place one of their tiles in the bag.
Then, after shuffling the tiles, the player must draw a new tile.
If the tile just drawn is playable, the player can use it immediately; if not, the player can skip the turn.
When a player takes one of these actions, his turn ends.
After each move, the player must make sure he has three tiles in his hand.
If you don't have enough, you have to keep pulling new tiles until you have enough.
The game then passes to the next player clockwise.
